You feel your life is good, you have nothing to complain about, but you want more… more from yourself and more from your life. You have goals but you’re having difficulty achieving them. You know you have greater potential, but you feel stuck, limited, as if something is missing or blocking you from moving forward and realizing you can be more.
How can coaching help me?
These days there are many people who seek coaches to help them maximize their potential, improve their performance, or enhance some aspect of the lives. Coaching can help you achieve your goals and transform your life. Coaching focuses on your future using a positive and proactive process to get from where you are to where you want to be.
What happens in a coaching session?
As your coach, I will engage you with powerful coaching questions to help you make the breakthroughs you seek in your life. Together, we will create a plan for you to learn new skills, making changes, and achieve your goals in manageable steps with ongoing guidance, support and kindness.
Coaching sessions will be done via video sessions or by phone. You can be anywhere in the world while we have our coaching sessions. All you need is a good internet or phone connection and the willingness to engage in the process. Fees are $300 for the first 60 minute coaching intake and $150 for each 30 minute follow-up session. We will meet 3-4 times per month for as long as you need.
Coaching is not therapy..
While psychotherapy focuses on resolving mental health problems and delves into the past, coaching focuses on active steps to reach your goals. Coaching focuses on your future and moving forward. Although I am a psychologist and coach, I do not provide psychotherapy to my coaching clients. If through the course of coaching it seems you may benefit from psychotherapy, I will refer you to a licensed therapist.

COACHING SPECIALTIES
GOAL SETTING
You have goals but struggle doing what is needed to meet those goals. Its too hard, you don’t know where to start, or you feel overwhelmed. You may have many goals and its hard to prioritize them. I can help you clarify your true goals, explore what you need to do to meet those goals, establish priorities and improve productivity. We will create a plan with steps so you know exactly what you need to focus on each week. You will have support and accountability to make sure you are meeting your goals and making progress.
UNDERSTAND CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
We live in a society that is more diverse than ever. Yet instead of embracing our differences, discrimination and prejudice has run rampant. You don’t want to be part of the problem but you recognize that you feel uncomfortable with certain groups of people who are different from you. You are having difficulty understanding their backgrounds or ways. We all have biases, whether we are aware of them or not. Coaching can help you learn how to be more comfortable with differences, reduce your biases, and be able to have conversations about diversity.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
You understand stress is a normal part of life, but lately the stress is becoming less manageable and you realize you could benefit from some stress management strategies. Stress can lead to mental health issues if we don’t deal with it correctly. Coaching sessions can help determine where and how to minimize stress. You will learn strategies to cope and lessen the burden. With better stress management, you will feel better able to handle your responsibilities with less fatigue and a renewed sense of well-being.
IMPROVE COMMUNICATION
Good communication is an essential part of life. Having challenges communicating with someone in your life, whether at work or in your personal life, can make things difficult. Although you have decent communication skills, you believe you can benefit from improving and upgrading how you communicate at work or at home. Coaching can help you do just this. We will talk about strategies including ways to better express yourself, help others feel heard and understood, set boundaries kindly, and ask for what you need effectively.
WORK LIFE BALANCE
Work is going well, but you notice its getting harder to draw boundaries between work and personal life. You constantly feel pulled towards your job, finding yourself thinking about work often, checking emails or doing work tasks late at night and on your days off. This may be impacting your relationships, health and other activities. Without work life balance, we are more prone to mental health issues. Through coaching, you will be able to set better boundaries around work. We will find ways to reset your focus so you feel more balanced in every area of your life.
HACKING BELIEFS
You notice that your internal dialogue is negative and/or unhelpful. The thoughts and beliefs going through your mind are not serving you, limiting your progress, and making it difficult to achieve what you want. We can be so controlled by the thoughts in our mind and whether we like them or not, they dictate our reality. I will help you become more aware of your thoughts and beliefs and help you change them so they are more aligned with what you would like to believe. These coaching sessions will help you have beliefs that better serve you in life.
